Take part in our online food workshop!

We are seeking participants from across the food system to try out an online tool we have developed for thinking about the future of the food system. Whether you’re a producer or consumer, involved in retail, processing or agriculture, or relate to food in another way, we’d love to hear from you.

What are we researching?

We’ve developed a tool to explore scenarios for a healthier and more sustainable food system in East Anglia. We are interested in how you would use it to share your perspective on the challenges around this topic. Your views are important to us to inform future food research and policy in the UK.

How do I attend?

You are invited to attend our free online workshop on the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd June. The workshop will be run online via the Zoom meetings tool. You can attend using your web browser. You will need a webcam and microphone to participate fully, although as we will be recording the session, we’re very happy for you to keep your webcam off if you don’t feel comfortable with this.

The workshop will last for 2 1/2 hours (13:30 to 16:00) with plenty of breaks, and will involve discussing your experiences of the food system in a small group. It may also be a good opportunity to meet like-minded people who are passionate about the future of food in your local area.

Who are we?

We are a team of researchers at Cardiff University, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Rothamsted Research, and Scotland’s Rural College. The workshops are part of a research project to understand the potential of regional food systems in the UK to support diets that are healthy and sustainable. For more information, Meet the Team!
